Noles Named All-Academic Team – Florida State University
TALLAHASSEE– Florida State men’s golf team captured the 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award on Tuesday, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
A GCAA record 292 schools across six divisions earned the honor as the Seminoles were tabbed an All-Academic Team after turning in a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Florida State finished the season with a team GPA of 3.107 after posting a 3.40 in the spring, which was the highest semester GPA in program history.
Individually, Tyler Weaver and Gray Albright were named All-Academic Scholars by the GCAA and were also a part of the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team along with Carson Brewer.
Weaver, Brewer and Jack Bigham will compete at the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship in San Francisco, running from Aug. 11-17 at The Olympic Club.
