The SEC Champions open up play on September 6 at the Sahalee Players Championship with the Gators Invitational slated for Feb.14-15.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida men’s golf team released its 2025-26 schedule on Monday. The campaign consists of 10 regular season events (five in the fall and spring) with the Gators Invitational slated for Feb. 14-15.

The season tees off at the Sahalee Players Championship from Sept. 6-7 where they began last year’s season and the Gators finished runner-up. Florida continues the fall annually at the Fighting Illini Collegiate (Sept. 19-21) at Olympia Fields Country Club before making an appearance at the Marquette Intercollegiate (Oct. 5-7) at Erin Hills and the Williams Cup (Oct. 19-21) at Eagle Point Golf Club.

After finishing as a National Championship Semifinalist last year, the Gators earned an invite to the East Lake Cup (Oct. 27-29) to wrap up the fall, which will feature 18-holes of stroke play followed by two rounds of match play. Florida will be joined by Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Virginia at the East Lake Golf Club as the Gators are making their second appearance in three seasons.

The spring season begins with two tournaments in the state of Florida, starting with the Sea Best Invitational (Feb. 2-3) at Atlantic Beach Country Club, an event that UF has won in its last four appearances and six times under head coach J.C. Deacon. The latter is the 48th Gators Invitational (Feb. 14-15) at Mark Bostick Golf Course. Florida has won the event 31 times in program history and the last six consecutive.

A staple and one of the highest-ranked tournaments of the year, the Gators head to the Southern Highlands Collegiate (March 1-3) where they have had two of the last three medalists in Yuxin Lin (2023) and Ian Gilligan (2024).

Florida concludes the regular season at the Pauma Valley Invitational (March 16-18) and the Calusa Cup (April 5-7).  Behind a final round of 17-under, tied for third all-time in program history by par, the Gators won the Calusa Cup for the second consecutive year as it marked the third consecutive year UF has won the final regular season event. The final team score of 17-under also set a new tournament record for the Calusa Cup.

The first leg of the postseason starts with Florida defending its conference title at the SEC Championship (April 22-26) at Sea Island in St. Simons, Ga.
