Last Updated: July 27, 2025By

Florida’s Taylor Parks assisted the U.S. Women’s U21 National Team to it’s third-consecutive gold medal at the 2025 NORCECA Women’s U21 Pan American Cup, held in San Jose, Costa Rica. The U.S. swept Chile on Sunday, 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-13), to complete an undefeated tournament run and finish without losing a set in its five matches.

Parks, a Clearwater, Fla. native, finished with 10 service aces across the five matches played, marking the most of any athlete in the tournament field. She tallied four aces in the opening round match against Canada on July 22 and added two more in the gold medal match. She also recorded 36 setting attempts in the final to help lead the U.S.’ offense to 42 total kills.

Sunday’s win gives the United States its third consecutive title at the NORCECA U21 Pan American Cup, adding to championships in 2022 and 2023. The U.S. now holds four overall gold medals in the event’s history (2017, 2022, 2023, 2025).

Parks is one of three Gators to make a 2025 U.S. National Team roster. Sophomore Jaela Auguste was also named to the U.S. Women’s U21 National Team, while incoming freshman Lily Hayes earned silver  with the U.S. Girls U19 Team at the FIVB World Championships in Osijek, Croatia.
