Bulldog Football Puts 13 On Preseason Media Days All-SEC Team
ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia football had 13 selections on the 2025 Preseason Media Days All-Southeastern Conference Team, according to a league announcement Friday.
The Bulldogs’ selections include a conference leading 10 First Team selections.
In addition, Georgia was picked to take on Texas in the 2025 SEC Championships Game in Atlanta on Dec. 6 in a rematch of the 2024 matchup. While the Bulldogs beat the Longhorns in last year’s SECCG, Texas is picked to win this year’s title.
Georgia’s First Team selections include redshirt junior DL Christen Miller, junior ILB CJ Allen, sophomore S KJ Bolden and senior DB Daylen Everette on defense. The Bulldogs also swept the First Team picks for specialists: senior P Brett Thorson, junior Peyton Woodring (PK and KS), graduate transfer SN Beau Gardner and junior Zachariah Branch (RS and AP).
The Second Team selection was senior TE Oscar Delp and the Third Team picks were sophomore RB Nate Frazier and redshirt junior OL Earnest Greene III.
The Bulldogs play host to Marshall to open the season on Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 30. ESPN will televise the matchup at 3:30 p.m.
