Florida State will play in the AutoNation Orange Bowl Classic for the 11th consecutive season as it faces UMass of the Mid-American Conference. Florida State has won three of its last five and 10 of its last 13 games played in the Orange Bowl Classic. “Playing an outstanding opponent in UMass at the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise is a great opportunity for our program,” said first-year Florida State head coach Luke Loucks. “We will play a respected national opponent who is coached by Frank Martin, who is a college basketball legend. The game allows us to showcase our program to the south Florida area where we have a very strong fan base. Playing in the Orange Bowl Classic against UMass is a tremendous growth opportunity for our program.”
