Seven Alabama Golfers Earn WGCA All-America Scholar Honors
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Seven Alabama women’s golfers were selected as Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars, the organization has announced Monday.
All seven of the Crimson Tide’s golfers that were recognized by the WGCA include Kennedy Carroll, Molly Brown Davidson, Ryan Flynn, Mattison Frick, Harriet Lockley, Julia Sánchez Morales and Isabella van der Biest.
The 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team included a total of 1,499 women’s collegiate golfers from 403 programs around the country who were recognized with the honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team included student-athletes maintaining an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and played in at least 50 percent of the team’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
