Inspector Kyle Lowrey of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office was recognized today with an “Outstanding Performance Award” for his extraordinary efforts and commitment to high standards as OCSO Accreditation Manager.

Not only did he manage the extensive process of preparing documentation for 235 accreditation standards required by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, he also oversaw the onsite assessment by CFA Commissioners.

The OCSO achieved its fifth reaccreditation, but also earned the highly prestigious “Excelsior Status”, a distinction reserved for agencies that demonstrate long term consistency and excellence.

The CFA says “Accreditation is a coveted award that symbolizes professionalism, excellence, and competence. Employees will take pride in their agency, knowing that it represents the very best in law enforcement.”
