Four Noles Capture CSC Academic All-District Honors

TALLAHASSEE – Four members of the Florida state cross country/track and field teams were named to the 2024-2025 CSC Academic All-District team on Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators. The award recognizes top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track and in the classroom. 
  
On the women’s side, Suus Altorf and Brooke Mullins earned All-District honors, while Neo Mosebi and Joe Farley received the accolade for the men’s team. To be considered for the CSC Academic All-District team, athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 and be ranked in the top 50 of their individual events nationally. 
Mosebi led the Noles after collecting his first gold medal at the ACC Outdoor Championships in the men’s 100-meter, crossing the line with a time of 10.08. Mosebi also competed on the 4×100 relay team that placed first with a time of 38.81. The South Africa native went on to compete at his first NCAA National Championship where he earned first-team All-America honors in the 4×100, placing 16th with a time of 39.31, before finishing in 17th in the 100 at 10.21. 
  
Farley concluded his collegiate career with All-Region honors during the cross-country season after placing 11th at the South Regional Cross Country Championships. Farley also competed at the ACC Outdoor Championships, placing 15th in the 10,000 meters with a time of 29.57.96. 
Altorf placed fourth in the mile at the ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 4:32.12. The Netherlands native contributed to the Distance Medley relay school record performance that placed fourth with a time of 10:55.41. 
  
Mullins finished her collegiate career joining Altorf on the program record Distance Medley relay team, before earning second-team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with the fifth-fastest time and personal best in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 9:56.80. 
  
Altorf, Mullins and Mosebi advance to the Academic All-America Ballot. First, second and third-team selections for Academic All-America will be announced on July 15 for the women and July 16 for the men.
