TALLAHASSEE–  Members of the Florida State men’s golf team will be in action at several amateur tournaments around the world this week.

Carson Brewer will be among the field as events for the tournament will start on June 22. The first round of stroke play will begin on June 24 and after two rounds, the top 32 players will advance to match play.

European Amateur Championship

June 25-28 | Vasatorp Golf Club, Sweden | Live Scoring

Three of the four European 2025-26 FSU team members will be playing in Sweden. Wilmer Edero, Tyler Weaver and Jack Bigham will all compete in the four-round tournament. The tournament features 144 players, including 11 of the top 50 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.  Following his play at the U.S. Open, Weaver jumped to No. 16, while Bigham heads into the week ranked 52nd. 

The winner will receive a bid to the 153rd Open Championship.

96^th Southeastern Amateur

Rising redshirt freshman Drew Jones will compete among the 78 golfers at the Southeastern Amateur in Georgia.

The 54-tournament will see a cut following the first 36 holes of play. The winner will receive exemption into the 2026 Jones Cup field.
