Alabama Baseball Garners Three ABCA/Rawlings All-Americans

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama’s Justin Lebron, Carson Ozmer, and Kade Snell were named American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings Second Team All-Americans, the organization announced Friday.

The All-American honor is Lebron’s third of the offseason, as the shortstop was also named a Third Team All-American by Perfect Game USA and National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). The distinction also stands as the sixth All-American accolade of Lebron’s Alabama career. After receiving First Team recognition from the NCBWA on Wednesday, Ozmer’s Second-Team honor on behalf of ABCA/Rawlings stands as his second All-American acknowledgement, while Snell’s Second Team honor becomes his first-career All-American commendation. All three players were also highlighted as ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-Southeast Region selections on June 10.

Justin Lebron

Shortstop, Second Team

  • Started all 59 games at shortstop as a sophomore
  • Garnered Second Team All-SEC honors as well as his second consecutive SEC All-Defensive Team accolade from the conference coaches
  • Recognized as a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award
  • Batted .316 (73-for-231) with 18 doubles, one triple and 18 homers to go with 72 RBI, 147 total bases, 60 runs, 35 walks, 10 hit-by-pitch and 17 stolen bases
  • Led the Tide in doubles, home runs, total bases, RBI, runs scored and stolen bases
  • His 72 RBI led all SEC players, while his 18 home runs were 10th in the conference

Carson Ozmer

Relief Pitcher, Second Team

  • A dependable reliever who operated as the closer for the Crimson Tide
  • Highlighted as a First Team All-SEC selection
  • Appeared in a team-high 29 games, converting a program record 17 saves
  • His 17 saves were the most by any pitcher in Division I
  • Managed a 3.29 ERA (14 ER/38.1 IP) in his 29 appearances
  • Produced 22 scoreless appearances in 29 games
  • Held opponents to a .193 batting average (26-for-135), the second-lowest mark among Tide pitchers
  • Contributed 48 strikeouts in 38.1 IP, equating to an 11.3 strikeouts per nine innings mark

Kade Snell

Outfielder, Second Team

  • The Tide’s everyday left fielder, starting 58 of 59 games
  • Named a First Team All-SEC selection as voted by the league’s head coaches
  • Managed a .363 average (77-for-212) with 13 doubles, one triple, 10 home runs, 52 RBI and 49 runs, adding 38 walks and six hit-by-pitch
  • Led Alabama in batting average, hits and on-base percentage
  • His .363 average finished fourth among SEC hitters, while his .464 on-base percentage ranked eighth
  • Reached base in 53 of his 58 games in 2025
  • Struck out just 18 times in 261 plate appearances, a rate of just 6.9 percent
