JACKSONVILLE – Florida Gators Track and Field wrapped up the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminaries on Saturday, ultimately sending six more event entries on to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore.

The Gators round out their roster for the national meet with 19 total entries – 8 men’s entries and 11 women’s entries.

Highlights
Sprints/Hurdles/Relays
The Gators advanced four in the Sprint and hurdles disciplines. Anthaya Charlton, who already punched her ticket in the Long Jump on Thursday, added the 100m Semifinal to her Eugene itinerary. She ran a 11.01-second race, taking third in her heat and automatically qualifying.

Her time reset her own Florida program record, which she set in the first round on Thursday.

Charlton additionally ran the second leg of the Gators’ 4x100m Relay, which also nabbed a qualifying spot to the title meet, bringing her total number of championship entries to three.

The 4×100 team of Quincy Penn, Charlton, Gabrielle Matthews and Habiba Harris combined for a 43.17-second lap, claiming a second-place finish in their heat and automatically qualifying. The time also marked a new season best for the Orange and Blue.

Harris punched ticket of her own in the 100m Hurdles, leading the field with her 12.80 time. Her dominant performance marked her fourth-consecutive round leading the field, having run the top time at the SEC first round, SEC Final, NCAA East first round, and NCAA East Quarterfinal.

Matthews competed in the quarterfinal round of the 200m, taking third in her heat and running the ninth-best time in the field, automatically qualifying her for the 200m Semifinal in Eugene.

Matthews has come on late for the Gators after competing only once between February 1 and May 3, making her presence felt once the calendar flipped to May. She reached new heights on Saturday, running a 22.87-second 200m, a new personal best and a season best by nearly three tenths of a second. The time ranks as the No. 8 performance in program history

Jumps
Freshman Asia Phillips continued her stellar rookie campaign, advancing to the NCAA Triple Jump field in Eugene. Her 13.29m [43′ 7.25″] mark netted her third place in the field.

With Phillips’s performance, the Gators’ five entries in the horizontal jump events all advanced to Eugene, as she joins Alyssa Banales (LJ) and Anthaya Charlton (LJ) on the women’s side, and Malcolm Clemons (LJ) and Jaden Lippett (TJ) for the Gator men.

Throws
Alida van Daalen punched her second ticket of the weekend on Saturday, advancing to the NCAA Championships in the Discus Throw. Her 59.78m [196′ 1″] mark earned her second in the field. She will compete in the discus/shot put double at the national meet for the second-consecutive year.

Distance
Tia Wilson ran a new personal best of 15:47.13 in the 5000m, which stands as the No. 5 performance in program history. Despite her strong showing, she and teammate Hilda Olemomoi failed to qualify for the national meet in the 5000m distance
