OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced on Wednesday afternoon that Florida softball players Taylor Shumaker, Kendra Falby and Mia Williams each earned NFCA All-American honors.

Shumaker was named an NFCA First Team All-American, while Williams and Falby were each NFCA All-American Second Team selections.

All three Gators are first-time NFCA All-America honorees.

Shumaker, the 2025 NFCA Freshman of the Year, is the only freshman in the NCAA to earn First Team honors this season.

The NFCA All-America teams are voted on by the Association’s All-America Committees. In Division I, the committee is composed of one elected member head coach from each of the NFCA’s 10 regions.

• Ranks fifth in the nation in runs scored (5) and 11th in the nation in home runs (22)
• Tied for the Florida single-season record in both home runs and RBI
• Through first six career NCAA games, is batting a team-best .500 (7-for-14) with four home runs, 10 RBI, eight runs, 10 walks and a 1.357 slugging percentage
• Recorded a team-high 23 multi-RBI, 24 multi-hit and five multi-home run games
• Swiped 18 bases in 19 attempts, second-most on the team

• Ranks fifth in the NCAA and leads the SEC in hits (90)
• Ranks seventh in the nation in runs scored (71) and 11^th in stolen bases (36)
• Led the SEC in both hits (35) and triples (2) and ranked in the top-10 in batting average (.393) and runs (23) in conference play
• Reached base in all but two of Florida’s 63 games and recorded a hit in 57 games
• Held a 48-game on-base streak this season from Feb. 6 to April 19
• Recorded a team-high 25 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games
• In the outfield, robbed over-the-wall home runs against Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma
• Holds career-bests in batting average (.433), runs (71), hits (90), RBI (34), slugging percentage (.524) and on-base percentage (.502) 
• Holds a team-best fielding percentage, committing zero errors in 109 chances with 105 putouts and four assists from center field

Mia Williams | Sophomore | NFCA Second Team All-America Second Base 
2025 Honors & Awards:

• 2025 All-SEC Second Team
• 2025 NFCA All-Gulf Region First Team
• 2025 SEC Player of the Week (April 15, 2025)

Notables:

• Slugged 19 home runs, which is tied for sixth-most in a single season in program history
• Hit 10 home runs in SEC play, third-most of any player in the conference
• Held a team-best .716 slugging percentage in SEC games, with 20 RBI, 21 hits, 17 runs and two doubles
• Hit a pair of home runs at Ole Miss on April 11, the first multi-home run game of her career
• Batted .343 on the season with career-bests in hits (61), doubles (10), RBI (44), runs (52), walks (18) and 13 hit by pitches (13)
• Fielded 16 double plays from second base, including eight in SEC play
• Recorded 18 multi-hit and 11 multi-RBI games
