TALLAHASSEE – Florida State women’s tennis student-athletes Millie Bissett, Laura Putz, and Tina Li received CSC Academic All-District honors, it was announced Tuesday.

To be eligible for this distinction, a student-athlete must have been in the lineup for 70 percent of the institution’s days of competition while maintaining a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.

Bissett is focused on Business Administration and is no stranger to academic accomplishments. She has previously received All-ACC Academic honors and was a 2024 ITA Scholar-Athlete. Bissett competed in 22 of FSU’s 23 matches and was rated as high as the No. 25-ranked doubles pair with partner Maria Juliana Parra Romero.

Putz, majoring in Business Management, also adds to her academic accolades. In 2024, she received All-ACC Academic Honors and was on the 2024 ACC Academic Honor Roll. Putz finished her season with a 9-4 singles record and a 15-7 record in doubles. She finished the season with a singles victory in the second round of the ACC Women’s Tennis Championship against Louisville. 

Li received CSC Academic All-District Honors for the second year in a row. The junior is majoring in Economics and played in 19 matches. Li finished the season with 11 singles victories, tied for the third most on the team.
