Walton County Public Works Announces Temporary Road Closure
Walton County Public Works will close King Lake Road to thru traffic on Monday, May 12, 2025, for the replacement of a failed cross pipe. The closure will be located between 4041 King Lake Road and 4103 King Lake Road. Local traffic will be able to access King Lake Road from either direction.
The road closure is necessary to ensure the safety of work crews and the public while the replacement work is completed. A failed cross pipe can lead to significant road damage and potential hazards if not address promptly.

Walton County Public Works will make every effort to complete the project as quickly and efficiently as possible. Residents living within the closure area will be able to exit in either direction from the closure point.
All planned construction activities are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather

- Message Boards: Electronic message boards will be placed on King Lake Road this week to provide advance notice of the closure.
