Audrey Vandagriff and Kali Heivilin Earn All-SEC Recognition

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced its annual softball awards Friday, with Alabama’s Audrey Vandagriff earning All-SEC First Team recognition while Kali Heivilin earned All-SEC Second Team honors.

This year’s All-SEC awards are the first career accolades the freshman Vandagriff and senior Heivilin. Alabama now boasts 121 All-SEC awards in its program history and has had multiple honorees every year since 2018.

Vandagriff and Heivilin both started all 24 conference games this season for the Crimson Tide and led the team with 26 and 23 hits, respectively, in SEC play. Vandagriff hit .356 in SEC play and led the team with 17 runs scored, four home runs, 15 walks and eight stolen bases. Heivilin, who hit .338 against league opponents, was ranked right behind Vandagriff on the team with three home runs and 10 walks.
