TALLAHASSEE –The No.21/NR Florida State track and field teams will compete at the East Coast Relays on May 2-3 in Jacksonville, Florida to close out the regular season.

The men’s hammer is expected to start at 2:00 p.m. Live results will be available through Seminoles.com and fans can access ticketing information here.

The Noles will get an early glimpse of the East Preliminaries as Visit Track at Hodges Stadium will serve as the host location for the first round of the NCAA postseason.

LAST TIME OUT:  

The Seminoles claimed four top 10 performances at the LSU Alumni Gold Invite on April 26 led by Madison McGloin, Kaelyaah Liburd, Tyra Wilson and Micahi Danzy. Wilson and Danzy earned ACC Performers of the Week for their efforts.

Danzy claimed the eighth-fastest time in FSU history with a lifetime performance of 45.41 in the men’s 400-meter, placing second. The Tallahassee native challenged two-time Olympic medalist, Steven Gardiner who cross the line just ahead of Danzy at 45.18. Danzy’s time ranks first in the ACC and 12th in the nation.

Wilson collected her first win of the season in the women’s 400 hurdles, after clocking a personal best of 55.39 for the second-fastest time in FSU history. 

McGloin competed in the women’s hammer throw, placing eighth with the eighth-farthest throw in FSU history at 52.87m (173-05).

Suus Altorf opened her season in the women’s 1,500-meters, crossing the line with a winning time of 4:17.83.

Azharia Jones collected her first collegiate win in the women’s long jump, with a mark of 6.09m (19-11.75).
